This idea was easy. In 2012, I suffered spinal cord injury resulting from viral meningitis. At first, my intent was to be a source for others who expereince damage to the spinal cord, to get an idea of what to epduring recovery,but when I recovered a lot quicker than anybody expected, the theme of the book changed to one that I hoped would inspire and motivate people to overcome obstacles. Also to give people an idea what dealing with spinal cord injury is like from the patient's perspective.
