I write a fishing column for a national newspaper and keep a list of all my articles for reference and to make sure I don't cover the same subject too often. While looking for one particular column from years ago, it occurred to me there were so many great stories I had either mentioned briefly or not at all because of the inevitable space limitations in a newspaper. I started to expand and update some earlier pieces and write new ones from scratch. Angling is my No2 passion after writing so it has been a genuine labour of love.

Truthfully, I don't use anything to inspire me. Writing is my passion and I am trying to make up for lost time. I grab any spare minute to write.
