I don't know. I've honestly never had to deal with it. If one story runs into a place I don't feel I can figure out how to move it forward from, I go to another of my projects for a while, then come back to the first one, and I'll often have a fresh perspective, by then.
But I'm never blocked. I'm always writing. As often as I possibly can.

Getting to know new people (my characters), and getting to create something -- watching everything come together is immensely satisfying.

Take your craft seriously. This isn't a game, or a get rich quick method. It's hard work, and it takes dedication. Learn, research, develop, and then learn some more. Research some more.

I'm currently working on several projects. I have:
The next book in Guardians, Inc: Witch Hollow (SIGHT UNSEEN's series), UP IN FLAMES;
Legends of Tirum, Book 7: STORM SINGER
Project Prometheus, Book 5: BETWEEN WORLDS
and Underground, Book 6: DEADLY DESIGN
top the list of what I'm directly working on, currently.

I don't know about inspiration, per se. I'm always writing. It's more like an obsession than an inspiration *laughs*... I've spent so much of my life writing, I'm overflowing with ideas.
I once sat down and calculated how many ideas I have, and how long it would take to complete them all. IF I only took a month to write a book (it typically takes much longer than that, due to my research and crafting process), it would still take me about 80 years to complete all the ideas I have mapped out.

My most recent book is currently awaiting publication. It's a Paranormal Procedural entitled SIGHT UNSEEN. The idea came from my combined, unusual backgrounds in the paranormal and forensic medicine. This book, and the series to which it belongs, is the culmination of a lifelong dream to bring this vision of how the paranormal and science intersect to life.
