Mary Hayward Invisible Child was inspired by one of the character, Joyce, Mary Haywards best friend who killed herself. Joyce's brother contacted Mary to share his good fortune with Joyce's son, and he thought Mary might have a contact for him. They started talking about the times, and since the brother was very much younger that Joyce her didn't really know her. Hence the book Invisible Child brought all the memories flooding back to her.
