After writing Struggles of the Women Folk, I knew that there would be a Part 2. I just wasn't sure how it would play out. Then Angel's voice began to speak to me. There are segments of the story, as is the case with my other books, that was difficult to write. I felt it important to write to the story in the manner that it unfolded before me.. Hope you like it!

My next project is the continuing story of Struggles of the Women Folk, (currently untitled). You'll discover what happens after Angel is kipnapped by Miss Emily Barker. How did she get away? These questions as well as many twists and turns are captured in the next installment :)

I read through what I've written so far. It always leads to writing more or correcting what's already written. I also verbally rehearse my storyline, visualizing each aspect of a scene. This is important to me, because I strive to write engaging stories.

I've always written in some form or fashion. My day job requires that I write technical papers. This really helped me put my thoughts down on paper in a succinct fashion. My books are a pleasant departure from the formally of writing technical documents.

The story is loosely based on tales my grandmother told me when i was a little girl watching her cook.
