I wanted to write a book about the village where my children grew up. Now that my oldest son lives in Fargo where he is working toward earning a graduate degree, I gave him a copy of the book so he can have the history and photographs of his hometown.

Don't sit and stare at the blank computer screen. Get up, take a walk, go for a bike ride, do yoga. Get other body parts besides just the head and the hands active, and the ideas will come.
