I can do better than that! This is what I call flick-fiction; a fiction story within 140 characters.
A saint now, the nun told the Father, “My 38 kids aren’t immaculately conceived. Menstruation’s murder!” His was the 39th. He kept a secret.
Here is the Chinese version, which, because Chinese is so economical, includes a lot more of the story:
一个尼姑叫安娜现在是一个圣人。她只把真相告诉牧师约翰之前，她死了。“我不是一个处女，这是一个神话，我的每38名儿童被设想一个真正的男人，我想要孩子，因为月经是谋杀！”他的儿子是第39届的孩子。他保持沉默。在她的册封仪式，他哭了。他哭了，因为他同情39祭司谁在房间里保持沉默。

Getting an email or message from somebody that has read your work and wants to know more. Never fails to make me happy.

Get some beta readers. They will tell you the truth about your work and find all the weaknesses. I think it was Mark Twain who said that when you editor your own work, all you are doing is reading your own mind because you only see what you thought you wrote, not what people actually read.

Right now, I have to do the final edit for Iron III, which may well become Iron III and IV, and then I have to do a final edit for Ordo Lupus III and possibly the final edit for a War novel.

Lotus grew organically from a small sketch about a medieval Lord and his partner. Somebody liked it so I thought I would make a short story about it. then I added other similar short stories and before I knew it, I had the makings of a novel.
