Hi readers. I've been writing books that teach kids and teens about being good people for more than a decade. (If you have children, there's a good chance they've read one of my Talking with Trees or Truth Be Told quotes in school.) But recently, when I looked around, I thought it was odd that while we know our kids need to learn to be honest, responsible, and respectful... a lot of adults weren't following the very behavior they emphasized to their children. So I got curious and asked, why are people acting so wrongly toward each other? And that led to another question- why do some people think what they're doing is right while others think they're horribly wrong? As I explored psychology, sociology, religion and history for answers, I found some incredibly interesting reasons behind why our culture is so divisive and how we can get to a place of more cooperation and kindness. I hope you'll explore and find some nuggets of insight to share with your friends.
