What books are on your summer reading list this year?
J.E. Fishman This will be the summer of dark and light for me, reading-wise. On the "dark" side, these anthologies: The Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft; Hard-Boiled and The Dark Descent.

On the "light" side: The Wisdom of Insecurity by Alan Watts, All Souls' Rising by Madison Smartt Bell, The Secret Scripture by Sebastian Barry.

Of course, I'll also grab a bunch of more current mystery, thriller and other works -- whatever strikes my fancy in the moment.

Hi Mr. Fishman, As a fan of the Bomb Squad NYC series, I'm curious to find out when Incident 5: Bottle Rocket will be released? Your book series does a great service for the bomb technician community.
J.E. Fishman Thanks so much for your question. Unfortunately, Incident 5 still lies quite a bit into the future as I've been distracted with other projects. Perhaps if I got another 1000 requests like yours, I'd be persuaded to speed up!

Hi, Just bought The Long Black Hand for my nook from Barnes and Noble and found out it is the 3rd Incident in the series. But on book I won here on Goodreads, A Danger to Himself and Others, The Long Black Hand is listed as the Incident 2. What is the really the second book. Do I have to read them in order? HELP. LOL! Zelda
J.E. Fishman Good catch, Zelda. We will make that correction to the Incident 1 ebook. Fortunately, the books need not be read in order. Although several characters do appear in more than one book, each book has a different protagonist, and the plots are not interdependent.
