Call me crazy, but I'd love to enter The Shawshank Redemption universe and talk to both Red and Andy. I feel like I'd learn so much from them about life and navigating through the storms that come so abruptly.

I don't have any particular titles that I'm determined to read, but I would like to read more classics and underappreciated novels. I suppose one title I've been eyeing is "No Longer Human" by Osamu Dazai. Maybe that will be the highlight of my summer reading.

"Collected Works" was actually intended to be a project that honored my dedication to Low Hanging Fruit, a literary magazine that I'm a Senior Editor at. Calvin Madsen, the Editor-in-Chief, proposed the idea of publishing a book that was comprised of just my work. How could I say no that?
