Being a writer is not status, but passion, and writing can both be mentally and physically painful. Bottom line is, do it because you like to do it. It would be a blessing to do this for a living, but unless you're lucky, that most likely won't happen. Do it because you have an itch in your mind that you can't scratch, and writing it out is the only way to relieve it.

Inspiration comes from many, many sources. One day, it's just a cool idea, another day, it's a plot that miraculously makes sense. Ultimately, I ask myself, "What would I like to read?" If it doesn't exist yet, that's what I start writing.

I love fight and scary scenes, but I don't always have the time to read a whole book. I came up with this book to specifically skip to these scenes, writing sequences that I would enjoy seeing in a movie or reading in a story.
