I think the best thing about being a writer is working at home. And having some flexibility in my schedule. So I guess that's two things! But the two go together, and I love both aspects. It's been nice to be able to raise my children while working as a writer.

My idea for my most recent release, The Guy Next Door, actually came to me when I recalled an event that happened while I was working as a microbiologist many years ago. I decided to use that event in some way and started planning the story and characters.
