Honestly? All the books I love most are set in worlds with overwhelming systemic problems, and we have plenty of those here. I'd rather stay on Earth and help the people here!
Unless I can take some magic back, in which case, maybe I'd visit the world of Spell Bound by FT Lukens? Nobody can whip an entire world into shape by themselves, but I'm sure Antonia Hex could give me a few ideas.
