Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Jeyn Roberts That's a tough one. I'm gonna say Sayuri and the Chairman from Memoirs of a Geisha. I don't think I've ever cheered so much to read about two people finally kissing.

When comes part 3 of the Dark Inside series?

Jeyn Roberts It's already out. It's called Fury Rising and you can only get it on Amazon because it was self-published.

First off, I'd like to start off by saying you are my favorite author off all time! My question for you is how did you come up with the plots for the Dark Inside Trilogy? Did you dream it up, or did it start off as something and it moved along as you were writing?

Jeyn Roberts The basic plot behind Dark Inside started off as reoccurring dreams I used to have as a teenager, but the majority of it came along as I started writing.

Why won't the last book be in hardcover too? I have the first two in hardcover.

Jeyn Roberts The third novel is going to be self-published and only available online. There are currently no self-published platforms that do hardcover. So sadly, only ebook and paperback.

Will the third book be released in 2015 or do you plan on releasing it later on? And on the topic how long does take to write a book normally? Iv always been curious to here the answer from a real author.

Jeyn Roberts There is currently no release for the third book.
The time frame to write a book depends on the author. For myself, it takes on average between 3 to 6 months, depending on the contract and what other projects I have going. I've had one book take a year to write, due to other commitments.

What inspired you to write your book "Dark Inside"? How did you, in the course of penning it, keep it from becoming another clichéd apocalypse novel?

Jeyn Roberts Dark Inside is based on a series of reoccurring dreams I used to have as a teenager.
When I was developing the idea, I knew I wanted to try something different.I've always been fascinated by sociology and why people behave certain ways in groups. And I love zombie stories, but I wanted to try and make it scarier. So I came up with the idea of a zombie type setting, yet they kept their intelligence. To me, that's scary.
