This is going to sound cliche, but I had a dream of one scene. I was so intrigued that I formed a larger plot and world around that one scene. Funnily enough, that scene got cut during some early editing. But I saved it in a deleted scenes folder since it was the cause of the whole story.

My 6th grade teacher kept one of the stories I wrote to show future students how she wanted a certain project to look like in the end. It made me believe I could really publish a book one day. Teachers are so important. They touch so many lives and provide so much inspiration.
