C.A. Anderson Dear diary, I’m grounded again, mom thinks the stain on the wall is raspberry jam, she doesn’t believe me. We know the truth, the next monster that pokes its head out of my closet will get a be be right between its glowing red eyes. #Horrorweek #Goodreads
C.A. Anderson If I only get to pick one, I would say Jurassic Park. I would spend my day photographing all the dinosaurs.
C.A. Anderson The Winter People, All the Missing Girls, The Handmaid's Tale, The Dinner, The lost City of Z, Nickel and Dimed, Evicted. Plus I have another ten books stacked on my floor to read, classic older titles. Having a stack of books to read is always a good thing, not having any books to read is a very bad thing.
C.A. Anderson Great question, I would say how do stray animals find my house. I don't turn them away but I don't go looking for another cat, dog, or turtle. They just show up and then of course they are welcomed into the herd.
C.A. Anderson Rhette Butler and Scarlett O'Hara. They are both selfish and vain and they live by their own code never once apologizing for it. Once they marry they never change to please the other. They are a true honest fictional couple regardless of their faults.
C.A. Anderson I go do something else and not worry about it. I paint, draw, work with ceramics. I also garden, grow cactus and succulents or I work on my house. Then I take the dogs to the park.
C.A. Anderson Being in your world that you created. Having your characters talk to you. Seeing what they see, feeling what they feel.
C.A. Anderson Write everyday. Write when your sick, tired, happy, and sad. Write for your self. And when your finished with that story, write another one.
C.A. Anderson I'm writing a short story about a middle aged woman who goes to this hotel to be like her favorite author. Things don't go as she plans. I am also on the second rewrite of my novel. It's about a widow who has to figure out her life while living in a haunted house. Plus other not so nice things happen too.
C.A. Anderson It's not about inspiration, it's about calming the writing beast inside me. I found if I do not write, I am miserable. I write in a journal everyday, that is the start of my day.
C.A. Anderson I love to shop thrift stores, I repurpose old furniture, lamps, and stuff. I saw a beat up garden gnome, and he was creepy looking. I thought it would be terrifying to be harassed by him. And I'm in a Goodwill, and they help people get back on their feet by employing them. Then I'm digging in my purse for a piece of paper to write down my story.
