Bryan Healey Unbounded creativity. For someone like myself (working as a technology executive by day), the liberation of literature is exhilarating. After a day of code and numbers, it's a pleasure to get lost in an imaginary place, and have the power to craft that place as you see fit.
Bryan Healey The trick to writing is, coincidentally, to write. Don't get hung up on the reader side of things (who will buy it, reviews, etc) because that is largely out of your control. You should be writing for yourself, and then choosing to share your creation with others as you see fit.
Bryan Healey My first foray into the fantasy realm has become a much more complex and expansive effort than I originally expected. "Kingdom of Ash" was originally slated to be released this year, but I expect it will be a good 6-12 months longer before it is properly completed and ready for consumption.
Bryan Healey In addition to my ambitions in literature, I spend my days building technology start-up companies in southern New England (and especially Boston). Recently, after a long discussion with a client, it dawned on me that these start-ups consistently face the same struggles over and over again. Thus, I decided to collect those struggles and offer my feedback and experience.
