Joshua Innes I develop strong framework early on to mitigate writers block, but it did happen a couple times during Relict. When it happened, I moved to the next chapter. I work on problems best when I'm not thinking on them. Chances are, as was proven, I'll figure it out during a drive. So my advise would be to skip it and come back around when you're ready.
Joshua Innes "I invent, transform, create and destroy for a living, and when I don't like something about the world, I change it." - Rick Sanchez
Joshua Innes Get a routine. Even if it's lopsided. For example, I started writing every day my wife wanted to go to the book store for Manga. So, about twice a week. Both of those days though, regardless of when they actually were, were the days I'd put in the time to write.
Joshua Innes The sequel to Relict. I'm also speaking with a very talented voice actor for the Audible book, and I'm finishing some Vella stories to upload and buy myself some time for the sequel. I try to keep my five fans happy :)
Joshua Innes I drive. Especially when I'm driving to work. It's the same for going to the gym. Basically preparing to do anything I don't want to do will bring it out.
Joshua Innes A short story I wrote, D'hen of Va'lo. It's actually going to be entered into my Vella series, Echoes of the Past, Present, and Future. Just not too soon though, it's got some spoilers for Relict 😉
