I develop strong framework early on to mitigate writers block, but it did happen a couple times during Relict. When it happened, I moved to the next chapter. I work on problems best when I'm not thinking on them. Chances are, as was proven, I'll figure it out during a drive. So my advise would be to skip it and come back around when you're ready.

Get a routine. Even if it's lopsided. For example, I started writing every day my wife wanted to go to the book store for Manga. So, about twice a week. Both of those days though, regardless of when they actually were, were the days I'd put in the time to write.

The sequel to Relict. I'm also speaking with a very talented voice actor for the Audible book, and I'm finishing some Vella stories to upload and buy myself some time for the sequel. I try to keep my five fans happy :)
