I take a walk or listen to music sometimes. If I still can't come up with an idea for something I let things rest for a little while. It may be a day or two or even a little longer but there always is an idea waiting for me.

In my opinion the best thing about being a writer is that you can live the life of your characters. You get the chance to be inside of your characters mind and see through their eyes. You feel what they feel at times. I can also say that spending time alone with my writing is another thing that I feel is the best thing about being a writer.

My advice to aspiring writers would be to just relax and write. Find a quiet place and let you ideas flow. I would also say that you should never give up on writing.

Right now I am in the process of deciding what I want to write about. I have several ideas but haven't really settled on just one yet.

It depends on the mood that I am in. Sometimes inspiration happens right away and sometimes I need a cup of coffee or some hot tea to really get inspired.

The idea for my most recent book came from a few pages that my husband had written in a notebook. I read what he had written and then it all came together.
