I had always said I would NEVER write a book. My friends Vince Antonucci and Caleb Kaltenbach had written books and encouraged me to start. Years later, it became a therapeutic process on a personal level. That led to not wanting to keep those lessons to myself but sharing them with others.

In late 2020, I crashed from the weight of counseling people, world events, personal situations, and more. It almost took me out, and I doubted God's movement and presence, but I had some close friends help me out of the mess. That process of doubting led me to examine my past and present and what I learned that would lead me in my faith journey forward.
