I don't have a release date for Pooey's story yet, but I have started it, and it's had me laughing a lot so far, which is usually a good sign.
I will post on my blog when the story will be out, so keep an eye on that for news as it happens.

Hi, I'm so glad that you liked the series. I hope you enjoyed many giggles from it. :)
I think there will be more Dora stories in the future, but there's a lot of work I need to do to get her current series out to people first. It's all taking longer than I expected, so unfortunately my writing is on hold again. But I will get there eventually, even if I have to remake the world to do it ^^.

Hi,
Thanks for reading the series. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
There is most certainly going to be at least one more Hint story for Pooey's origin story, which I'm currently writing. (I don't have a release date for it yet.) And there may be many more in the future because there are a lot of characters with stories that I'd like to explore, like Lucian's etc.
I do plan to continue the main series too, but I don't know when that will happen. It depends on time and workload. I'm chasing deadlines again, as always :).
All the best,
Claire

My great grandfather (John Alexander Symington) was a literary mystery in the publishing world. The public accounts of his life in literature sound like the plot for the movie National Treasure. He was connected to the Masons, Ghandi, the Brontes, Daphne Du Maurier and a huge scandal that's wrapped up in a 1930s rumour mill rather than any evidence because all the actual records are sealed to the public, which in itself is somewhat mysterious.
Maybe as a blood relative, I'll unseal those records one day and find out what the real story is... ^^

Ooh, that's a tough one. So many to choose from. I think it'd have to be Elizabeth Bennett and Mr Darcy from Jane Austen's Pride and Predjudice. Although it's not a modern romance, I loved the conflict between the characters, and the conflict in the characters where they not only battle each other, but they battle their feelings for each other as well. I like it when the sparks fly :).

I've never had it. The mornings where I don't know what to write or I don't want to write are the ones when I make sure I write something. There's no such thing as writer's block. There's 'writer doesn't want to.' It's a choice not an illness.

The stories are the best part. You get to have new adventures every single day.

Start writing, learn editing and read as much as you can. Writers never stop learning or improving. The earlier you start, the better you'll become.

I'm currently writing an epic fantasy adventure called Evanescent, which I'm really enjoying. It's all elementals, shape shifters, elves and warriors.

I start writing. About thirty minutes in, the inspiration will kick in no matter how much I don't feel like it when I start.

My most recent book, Hustle, started with the main character, Ellie. I wanted to create a high-action romance with a bad ass heroine, so pitting her against a treasure hunter and taking her out of her usual environment seemed a great way to explore her character and create a bit of romance along the way.
