I spend a lot of time writing my own books, but I try to continue being an avid reader. I sometimes will re-read old favorites to see if I can get something out of them that I didn't in the first round. Sometimes I will go to a new read.
It's not summer right now, but I have started trying to read "Outlander", as I have enjoyed the television series so much. It's sometimes how I find new books to read. The "Outlander" series seems to be pretty expansive, so will have to see how quickly I can get through that one.
However, I am always open to expand my TBR pile!

I remember a book series I read when I was younger called "The Unicorn Chronicles" by Bruce Coville. Right now, I don't remember much about that story aside from really enjoying the series and that there were Unicorns. From what I can remember, I think that would be a fun world.
I read "Stardust", which was also turned into a movie. I think the land beyond the wall would be fun to be.
If it was Lord of the Rings, I would either want to be in the Shire with the hobbits (they have lots of snacks), but I think I could possibly enjoy the woodland elves too.
