LOVEBOAT, TAIPEI by Abigail Hing Wen has been in my TBR pile for a while now (So many books! So little time!). Watching the movie adaptation multiple times this summer made me move it to the top of my TBR pile. I'm only a few chapters in, but I love seeing the similarities and differences between the two properties. I am a sucker for the American studies abroad trope, and this book has a nuanced take on it.
