The seed of this story was planted when I asked myself “what makes ghosts scary?”
The answer I came to, was that ghosts are often a manifestation of the past not staying buried. Especially if we weren’t always good to the deceased person, the idea of them coming back becomes frightening. It gets worse if they may know secrets that we had hoped would stay buried along with them.
