With a hammer? LOL. Seriously, it happens. The easiest way for me to deal with it is to switch gears to research so I'm still being productive. Any words count from a sentence to a whole chapter. Just keep going.

I wish I could pinpoint it. A lot of the time it's like lightning. I'm driving, washing dishes, working, or listening to a song and a few lines of dialogue will jump into my head. I build stories from those dialogue snips.

Write. Get the words on the page or record yourself talking out ideas. A blank page can't be edited. And while you should always trust yourself and your writing style feedback is SO important. Take notes on what you're told needs improvement and use it to let your story shine.

I have a couple of projects in the works. Some shorter horror/comedy/dark romance romcoms and a dark urban fantasy trilogy. So, all the projects which is better than not having any :)
