I am currently working on the sequel to Poisoned. The book title will be Drugged. It will start with as scene in Poisoned, where the main character's sister leaves Julie's house heading into the hands of a major criminal element.

From a class on deep point of view with Ramona Richards at the Blue Ridge Writing Conference. We were developing characters and the class came up with the character Patty, a veterinarian. The premise is that one day someone drops off a dog at Patty's clinic and mysteriously disappears. My mind took off and before I knew it, Patty became Julie (too awkward for a Patty to be patting animals) and she was married to the most eligible bachelor in town, who happens to be the prosecuting attorney of the town. His assistant drops off her dog and mysteriously disappears as does Julie's husband. And so, we have Poisoned. It's coming out in October 2021.
