What are you currently working on?

Kerry Fryar Freeman Currently, I am writing my third book, which is a mystery/thriller set in rural North Carolina along the Haw River. It is quite an undertaking with lots of perspectives.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kerry Fryar Freeman Funny enough, I got the idea for Sedona: A Novel from a screen saver on my computer. The beautiful red rock formation stared back at me when I was doing a free write one day and I asked myself, "What kind of person lives in a place like that?" Suddenly, I was there through the eyes of my main character, Cal, living the dream.
