I threw open the door to a chilling October breeze and was greeted by three creatures of the night; an ogre, a skeleton and a vampire all sneering at me with wicked grins. I started to speak, then realized by the adult size that these were not children in front of me, and the costumes were very hastily thrown together.

At the moment it is the mystery of the missing sock! Just finished a laundry, and although I am positive an even number went into the machine, an odd number came out. One of the great mysteries that occurs every laundry day.
