Hello, Salisa,
Not exactly. I wanted to be several things, I just wasn't sure which one. I used to run track, but I kept getting sidelined with injuries later in my career, so I stopped. There was also a time when I wanted to be a lawyer, then an actor. When I began writing, I almost gave it up because the industry--at the time--was so difficult to get into. Then I stumbled onto my content editor's website. We chatted and then she taught me a few things to get me started.

The flexibility in making my own hours.

I'll put the manuscript aside and focus on something else. I may read book, play my violin, go to the gym, listen to the radio, or even watch TV. I cannot force ideas or solutions to come. I can only be patient and eventually the idea or the solution will come to me.
