Joseph Montgomery Life lessons, just kidding. This is what I get asked the most: "You're in the mafia?" I love mafia books and movies and have actually had the idea for Crime and Family since the early '90s. The only part I would say has any reflection on me personally is what I hope people take away from the book. The book, when you take away the violence and/or language, is simply about relationships between friends and family and what extent they will go to to keep them safe and well.
Joseph Montgomery I am always inspired. I don't have a ritual to get inspired or anything like that.
Joseph Montgomery I do multi-task. I am working on the sequel and the third book in Crime and Family but I have a book started in the 1st person of a future former president and how he saves out country.
Joseph Montgomery If you believe in your product, never give up. Never give up!
Joseph Montgomery My most satisfying moments have come from people that have loved the characters and complain of what I've done to them or not done to them. But, I also enjoy the escape when writing, it is my sanctuary.
Joseph Montgomery Haven't had too much of it. But, I pretty much only write when it's flowing.
