Hmm, this is a tough one. We'll skip over my own characters because that would be a bit obvious, lol. There's so many amazing couples out there like Mac and Barrons, Charlie and Reyes, Cat and Bones. Are you sensing a theme here? Lol! I love a good, strong Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance couple! I just can't pick one.

Hi Piper! Thank you so much, what an honor to be considered for a hook club read. Totally made my day! There's not really any cheating or love triangles but each story has some under lying romance. Without giving too much away, Maurin is discovering who she is, what her place is and which man should be by her side over the course of the series. Thank you again for considering the series. :)

It means a lot. :) I'm not sure what happened with the series numbers but I am glad you asked or I might not have known something got messed up. Mistletoe Meltdown which is a holiday short in the series should be listed as 5 with Ill Fated as 6. I hope that helps. Inspiration is every where and in every thing. Sometimes it's a song on the radio or the name of a band. Or a combination of both in the case of a book in my tbw (to be written) pile. It could be a shared experience or something a friend mentioned in conversation. I'm always listening, observing life for new ideas.

Write. Write everyday. One word, one sentence, one paragraph. Before you know it you have a chapter and suddenly a book. I also recommend finding a great editor, one who not only looks for typos but challenges you to dive deeper to trim the fat, one who pushes you to be the best writer you can be. When you find them, bribe them with coffee and chocolate to ensure they never leave you. ;)

Readers are by far the best thing about writing! I am still blown away that people are reading my stories. I don't think I'll ever get used to that!

I read. Short and to the point. When I can't put words to paper I need to escape into a world someone else created, reconnect with old friends so to speak. Experiencing another author's passion for storytelling and world building usually gets the creative juices flowing.

Ill Fated is the fifth book in The Maurin Kincaide Series and a continuation of Maurin and Mason's story. I wanted to write a little more about the fae in Maurin's world and the havoc it creates when you draw their attention.
I'm also writing about another book right now, a stand alone called A Haunted Life, which was inspired by a real ghost story. I'm very excited about the way that story is unfolding.
