Nancy E. Dunne I'm a newbie to genealogy, and I am constantly following the wrong branch to try to discover more about my MacDonald ancestors. I am sure that there is a mystery there that keeps throwing me off the track!
Nancy E. Dunne I opened my laptop to put the finishing touches on my latest story. The entire hard drive was wiped clean, as was my cloud storage.
Nancy E. Dunne Oh, I would LIVE in the world I created for the Orana Chronicles if I could. I used to think I would want to go through the wardrobe to Narnia, or to hang out with Meg hunting for a tesseract but now I just want a tree city in a forest and a nice mug of tea. :)
Nancy E. Dunne I have The Testaments by Margaret Atwood sitting on my coffee table, and I'm trying to make myself start it - the climate at present is just so tumultuous and reading is an escape...so... :)
Nancy E. Dunne I am not ashamed to say that I am a gamer, though currently a gamer without a game. The Orana Chronicles were born in my gaming adventures and percolated there for about a decade before I finally shared them with the world. Gin is me and I am Gin, in a lot of ways.
Nancy E. Dunne I'm going to go back to my music answer from the question about writer's block - music inspires and influences and determines everything that I do in all parts of my life, and I can't count the number of times I have been listening to a song and something has clicked in terms of a work in progress or an idea that becomes a work in progress.
Nancy E. Dunne The second book in the Nature Walker Trilogy is in final edits, the third book in the trilogy is in what I'm calling post-production, and there are two other books in the Orana Chronicles series that are waiting to go to editing. So, a lot. :)
Nancy E. Dunne I have a playlist for everything I have written, and then a playlist just for writing, so music often helps me push past being stuck. In fact, I almost can't separate music from my writing process.
