Lucinda Brant Hi Flora,
So happy you've enjoyed my Roxton and Salt Hendon worlds.
I'm hoping to have the latest Alec Halsey mystery published by the end of this year. I'm afraid I had hoped to have it out by now but it's been slow going as I had two major back surgeries in the past 12 months... but on the mend now! :)
Magnus and Jane are central characters in this latest Alec Halsey, and several characters from the Roxton world also make an appearance.
TY for your question and your (im)patience! :)

Lucinda Brant Hi Linda, they are on my to-do list, but I have other projects to complete first. Best, Lucinda
Lucinda Brant Hello Janice, TY for getting in contact. The fifth mystery is behind schedule as I have injured my back, and spent a month in hospital. I'm awaiting an operation, but as soon as that's out of the way and I am well again I'll be finishing off the fifth mystery. Unfortunately it looks like mid 2024 before publication... So very happy you enjoyed Matt's narration! That made my day! :)

Lucinda Brant Hi Linda, I have plans to do that!
And the first story will involve Deb and Julian's brood too.
So it will see the Salt Hendon and Roxton families come together ;)
Lucinda Brant Hi Ellen, TY for getting in touch! So happy you're enjoying Alec, Selina, Plantagenet, Tam and the gang in the Alec Halsey Mysteries. :)
Deadly Desire will be out sometime in 2022 as I am presently in my Roxton world working on a few books. So good to know you are going to jump into that world too! :) I appreciate your support and your patience. Best, Lucinda
Lucinda Brant Wow! I am so sorry I wasn't alerted earlier to your question. TY for writing to me. I hope by now you have read Satyr's Son - Henri-Antoine and Lisa's story. I'm so happy you love my Roxton Family saga and I do intend to write more stories about the family - Elsie's story, and Deb and Julian's brood of children will all have their stories told. TY again for contacting me.

Lucinda Brant Hi Larisa, no not a third novel. I wrote a short story for a Timeless Romance Christmas Anthology and it was set in my Salt Hendon world. :) It was then included as a bonus story in the Salt Hendon Boxed Set. If you want to read it send me an email and I'll see what I can do! :) Lucinda
Lucinda Brant Hi Ivy, So happy you loved Mary and Christopher's story, and look forward to what you think of Henri-Antoine and Lisa's story in Satyr's Son. :)
I am just finishing off a novella I promised to write after I finished writing Satyr's Son, and then it's on to the fourth Alec Halsey book. It's been awhile... But my books take a year to research and write, and Henri-Antoine and Lisa's story was calling to me after I finished writing Proud Mary, so I decided to let them tell me their story before returning to Alec, Selina, Plantagenet, Tam, and the gang. So I'm hoping for a late 2018 release date for Deadly Kin. TY for your patience and support. I appreciate it. And TY for reaching out. Any time! :) Lucinda
Lucinda Brant Hi Ronda, Thank you for your question. The third story ‘Salt Angel’ is a novella that was first published in an anthology, so it was decided to add it to the Salt Hendon box set as a bonus. It was never intended to be a separate publication.
Lucinda Brant I'd visit Treat, ancestral home of the Dukes of Roxton, take notes, make sure I got the details right, row over to Swan Island, visit Crecy Hall and the Gatehouse Lodge, and then settle in on a comfy sofa in the Duke's library with a good book or two...
Lucinda Brant A whole bunch of non-fiction books about 18thCentury medicine and medical practices, as well as general books on life in 1780s England. Thanks for asking! :)
Lucinda Brant Hello Alexandra, Do you know something I don't? :) LOL!
Seriously, Satyr's Son will have a "headshot" cover to be in keeping with the other books in the series. However, I am tossing up ideas for a whole new look once the entire series is written... Please, if you have any strong preferences for/against, I'd love to hear them. Thank you for getting in touch. Lucinda :)
Lucinda Brant In my books....?
Antonia and Roxton, closely followed by Antonia and Jonathon. ;)
Oh, because Antonia is the light in the room, and to have the love of one great man is wonderful, but two? Wow! ;)
In other books, I adore Anya Seton's telling of Kathrine Swynford and John of Gaunt's love story. And Persuasion is my favorite Jane Austen novel—Captain Wentworth's letter to Anne—oh my!
TY for asking. :)
Lucinda Brant Hi Barbara,
So glad you found me, and my Alec Halsey series! :)
The fourth book is due the end of 2017.
I'm busy working on books 5 & 6 in my Roxton Family Saga, and then back to Alec! :)
Thank you for your patience.
kind regards
Lucinda

Not sure what you mean by "The Roxton Families"?
The next Roxton Book - Book 5 Proud Mary - is due for release later this year. :)
