One of my all time favorite fictional couple is from a book that I read many years ago called The Thorn Birds by Author Colleen McCullough. It is a story about forbidden love between a Catholic priest by the name of Father Ralph de Bricassart and a young woman twenty four years younger than him. Their romance spans a decade and a half of love and pain.
