So often, we read about characters who are becoming something paranormal, but didn't know they would, like Clary being a Shadowhunter in the Mortal Instruments, or Bella Swan not knowing she was a shield in Twilight. I love that concept, and wanted to take it a step farther... what if someone knew she was not human, but couldn't figure out what she was?
