I put the work aside and look at it again in a few days with fresh eyes. Brainstorming helps too. The biggest thing is to push your fears aside and worry about perfection when it is time to edit.

I always loved writing. I have been creating stories for as long as I can remember. My first book, A Star in the Night, was inspired by other people's acts of kindness. I wanted to share that message with children.
