Just write. Don't talk about it. Don't ponder it. Get down to it and write. Talking about writing is the biggest waste of time any writer can engage in. Do not talk. Write. Be tough on your writing. Set it aside and if you hate it later, delete it. Start over. Be tough on yourself.

When I first started publishing in 2010, I think I would have said that the best thing about being a writer was to simply accomplish the thing -- to write and have someone read what I had written. A reader gives her or his time over to the author, and it's an honor, really, when anyone reads something you have written. Also, when I first started, I'll be honest -- the income was on my mind, as well. However, it is now 2016, and I've been writing for over six years now, and have an answer that is a bit more complex. Now, the thing I like best about being a writer is having a platform. When something strikes me as sexy, or a life experience keeps resonating with me and I want to take it beyond what it is, or I see a sexy image, or a photo that stirs my erotic imagination, I am happy I have a place to go with it, outward into the world, as a writer. I can put it into a work of fiction. I can advance it out. Writing is an outlet. Even if only one person reads a story, that outlet has been made purposeful ...

Thank you for your question. I am a major perfume junkie & have been meaning to write a few reviews. The new Marc Jacobs called Decadence is amazing. On to yr question--I have been using the same faceted glass bottle of "Estée" for over a decade, so I'm not sure if this particular version is still for sale. The photo for the review page is accurate-- you want the faceted, shaped bottle. Yes, you should read my fiction ! My last story even mentioned one of my favorite Tom Ford scents, Plum Japonais.

I have not yet experienced writer's block, but that is perhaps because I write when I have a story that I really want to tell. Sometimes life gets in the way of writing, and then I begin to miss the creative outlet that my writing represents for me. I'm less likely to be blocked than to just be too lazy to get to the computer and finish editing and proofreading a story. I like to goof off too much. But I love writing erotica. Maybe I'll get writer's block when I finally run out of stories to tell!
