I think the best thing about being a writer is to be able to impact the lives of others through the ideas and concepts you express on the page. I believe my life has been indelibly impressed by the books I read as a child.

I am currently editing the last book in the Egypt series, In The Promised Land.

My most recent book deals with a protagonist who was abused by her father when she was a child, and now has difficulty forming relationships with men. I got the idea from listening to a popular televangelist speak about her abusive childhood, and how she overcame the effects through the power of God and the love of her husband. My protagonist eventually falls in love, but it takes a lot of conflict resolution before they both accept God's gift of forgiveness, learn to forgive themselves and others and accept each other as they are.
