How do you deal with writer’s block?
S.W. Frank Stepping away to do things with my family and friends or mini vacations, is what I do quite often.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
S.W. Frank Giving life to fictional people and having real people (readers) message me about something that I've written that resonated.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
S.W. Frank An idea for The Criminal Elite started with the events on immigration and the politicizing to prevent decent people from seeking safety and opportunity throughout the world. The Statute of Liberty, as a New York writer symbolizes the ideals that the United States represents. Of course, entertainment and drama are abundant supply. Cole is a fictional character and a hit man is extremely flawed. But, a corrupt politician, out to do anything to win an election, including, lie and murder is equally horrendous. Cole isn't interested in politics until he falls in love with a migrant worker. The crooked politician if elected is interested in immigration reform for monetary gain and bamboozling the Nation. Cole is out to stop him, but it might be too late.

How do you get inspired to write?
S.W. Frank I can be inspired by a simple thing. But, when I need further inspiration, I listen to my heart and there I am reminded why I must write.

What are you currently working on?
S.W. Frank I'm always working on something. I've completed The Criminal Elite, Evelyn's Cross Deluxe Edition and for the summer of 2016, da-da-da Alfonzo returns in Volume 19.
