Ray Foy Sometimes I "soldier on" and make myself write something, and the block breaks. Or I concentrate on something else, like backpacking or sharing time with my family, or participating in my writer's group. Inspiration usually comes from these things and inspiration most always prompts me to write.
Ray Foy When those magic moments come where I see a reader who has been moved by my work, as I was in the creation of it.

Ray Foy My best inspirations come from drama that touches me, whether from books or movies. Or sometimes from something I experience, like a hike down a forest trail or an engrossing conversation.
Ray Foy In looking over the book reviews I've done, I noticed they fell into pretty obvious themes. Since I've gotten a lot of response from the reviews I've done over the years, I decided to make a compilation of them and add commentary on the themes they represent. The result was Ray-views Volume 1.
