Rich Feitelberg My life has not been full of mysteries. Not sure that approach is a way to create a plot for a book. I prefer to use other methods relying on the characters I've created to figure out the plot of each book I write.

Rich Feitelberg Read and write regularly. Not daily, but regularly. Get in the habit of doing this until it is second nature. That will help you a lot.
Rich Feitelberg For me, I explore ideas that have come to me. I love that. Then I get to share those ideas with others. That's another win for me.
Rich Feitelberg I don't generally get writer's block anymore. When I did, years ago, I found reading helped and switching projects can help too because writer's block is the result of being exhausted writing about a certain scene or topic. Getting away from it is the best thing you can do for it.
Rich Feitelberg For the draft of Book 5 of the Aglaril Cycle, it occurred to me that the character of Evan was not used to its full potential after Book 2. So I decided to fix that and adjusted the story line accordingly.
Rich Feitelberg I get inspired by many different things; things I read, see, and more often, dreams. Inspiration can come any time or place, I just need to be in the right frame of mind to recognize it and then run with it.
Rich Feitelberg I am currently drafting Book 5 of the Aglaril Cycle, conducting a test read of Book 2, and finalizing a new short story for the start of next month.
