As is the case with many would-be authors, writing a book has been a bucket list item of mine for many years. I wasn't sure what the focus should be until it occurred to me earlier this year that I had 12 years' worth of material on my blog (5kids1wife.com). Then it became a process of selecting my favorite 51 posts among the 850+ I've written, organizing them in a somewhat logical fashion, and learning the ins and outs of self-publishing through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing. It has been an amazing journey!
