J.D. Tyler Yes, Sierra! I'm slowly working on Raven's story now. It's been a process for me to get back into the swing of writing, but I'm back at the keyboard! I'll post updates more frequently now. :)
J.D. Tyler Shirley, I've been writing all my life, since grade school. I used to fold little booklets in class with my notebook paper and write stories instead of doing my lessons, lol. But I started writing seriously in 2001 with the goal of being published, and my first book was released in 2006. Writing is a serious passion for me, and I love what I do! :)
J.D. Tyler ONE LAST KISS is now in edits, and I'll be sending it to the formatter soon. I'll be announcing an actual release date within the next couple of weeks!
J.D. Tyler ONE LAST KISS is now in edits, and should be going to the formatter soon! Stay tuned for an actual release date!
J.D. Tyler Hi there, thanks so much for the question! I'm so happy you're enjoying the series! Phoenix Reborn, a m/m story for Nix and Noah, has been contracted by my publisher but won't be out for a while yet, after CHASE THE DARKNESS. It will be a longer novella, in e-format. It seems like a long wait for me too! I don't have a story on the horizon yet for Blue, but I do for some of the other remaining characters... who knows what the future will bring? :)
J.D. Tyler My goal is October 2014 for the release of ONE LAST KISS! FBI heroes are on their way! Stay tuned...
J.D. Tyler I've always written stories, ever since I was a kid. As an adult, however, I went into a different career and my day job was killing me. I hated it. I started seriously writing with the goal of getting published, plugging away every single night after the day job. It took almost 7 years of hard work to break into the publishing world, but it finally happened! I couldn't ask for a better career.
J.D. Tyler I recently turned in WOLF'S FALL (Alpha Pack #6, Nick's story) to my editor, and it will be released in December 2014. Now I'm working on 3 new proposals, one for an Alpha Pack novella, and two for brand new series that I plan to write. After that, I'll be writing ON THE RUN (Sugarland #4, Tonio's story) as Jo Davis. Next book up for release is IN HIS SIGHTS (Sugarland #4, Chris's story) in September 2014!
J.D. Tyler I get to go to work in my pajamas and I don't have to wear makeup! Oh, and I love to tell stories, too. So it's a win-win all around. :)
J.D. Tyler Join a writer's chapter and go to meetings and workshops. Learn how to hone your writing to make it the best it can be. There's no substitute for tight writing coupled with a great story, whether you're planning to publish traditionally or self-pub. Also learn the business so you can choose the very best option for *you*! There's no "right" way to publish!
J.D. Tyler Sometimes I watch the news and get ideas from current events to shake things loose in my head. A lot of the time, I'll turn on the radio or open iTunes and listen to music!
