I work out or watch a movie. I'll tend to get away from the story a bit before i can go back to it. Once, I do that, I'll read it back and begin to write again.

Read and write often. The more you write, the better you'll get. It's like anything. The more you do it, the better you excel. Even if you can only write a 100 words that day. Write something. Also, reading what others are doing is great. There are a lot of great authors out there. And in all honesty, there is room for everyone who can and wants to do it.

I regularly watch MMA/Wrestling/Boxing Events. I was watching Strikeforce late one night on Showtime and there was a match feat. Luke Rockhold at the time. And the story just came out of that and watching luke and his opponent at the time.
