I don’t want to reveal any spoilers, but I’m writing their book now... ;)

No plans for his romance at this time, but I keep a list of ideas and requests, and I’ll add yours to it. :) Thanks so much for your interest!

Cintia, sorry I didn’t see this question until now. But all I can say is that every writer deals with this in his or her own way—these are facts, so there’s no way around them except to push them into the background and get on with it. I suspect this isn’t very helpful, but I can’t think of anything else to tell you—sorry about that!

Anita, Griffin and Rachael’s story continues in Tempting Juliana—it’s not a huge portion of that book, but they are in there. Then their story concludes in The Art of Temptation, which is actually a double romance (Corinna & Sean + Griffin & Rachael). Hope this helps! :-)

It varies. Some days I write 4 hours, usually I write 7 or 8 hours, and some days I write 10 or 12 hours or more. It depends on how the writing is going and where I am in the book—toward the end I more and more hours writing. I once stayed up 72 hours straight, doing nothing but writing to make a deadline—but that's not my preferred way of doing it! :-)

The key to getting started is finishing a whole book. I completely rewrote my first book 23 times before it was good enough to sell...it really takes a lot of practice, patience, and perseverance!

Lots! I research before writing, during writing, and after the first draft. I have a lot of research books at home and I'm always buying more! But my favorite kind of research is on site—staying at the homes my characters live in and visiting the towns where my books are set. No book can possibly be as good as seeing the real thing. :-)

Oh, there are so many authors I love! But my favorites are Ken Follett and Robert A. Heinlein.

Devon and I actually decided to write YA books together when she was just 13! Way back then, we wrote a proposal for a series that my agent loved and submitted for Avon's YA romance line. Unfortunately, Avon closed their line the next month, and there was no one else publishing YA romance at the time, so we set the project aside. Many years later, when self-publishing became an option—meaning it no longer mattered who published what—we decided the time had come for us to write YA romance together. It was very much a joint decision!

To be completely honest, I don't remember which book first made me cry. But I'll take a guess and say it was one of the Little House books (by Laura Ingalls Wilder), because those were the first books I really loved as a child, and some sad stuff sure happens in them! As for books still making me cry, too many to name. I cry easily...even TV commercials make me cry sometimes—haha!

I like some fantasy, yes! But to be honest, I find it easier to sink into books where the characters are all humans in real-world situations. A fantasy novel has to be super special to draw me in. I do love good science fiction, too!

It's always an exhausting race to the deadline, so my "celebration" is allowing myself a few days off before starting the next book!

Every author writes so differently that I can't compare my books to other books. Trying to do that would just drive me crazy! :-)

I love The Vyne! Whenever I visit a property, I take lots of notes and tons of pictures and buy whatever guidebooks are available, just in case—even for historic places here in the United States, because I never know where my writing will take me. Sometimes I will decide to use a property in advance and go visit it on purpose, but most of the places I've used after seeing them without any special use for them in mind.

It's just a matter of sitting down and deciding to write, really. If I waited until I "felt creative," I would never finish a book!

I've wanted to be a writer since I was a little girl and won an essay contest. My essay appeared in our local newspaper—it was so exciting seeing my words in print! :-) As for what else I'd like to do, I used to own/run jewelry stores, I always wanted to direct television shows, and I love interior decorating.
