I'm currently working on a series of early readers for 4 to 6 years. It's in the earliest of all stages, but I have finished four manuscripts that are with my agent. I've also written a companion book to Tangled, which is under consideration at the publisher.

I prefer assignments. I like to work within limits, like puzzle-solving rather than writing. I don't like to stare at a blank page and fill it with words. A few times, a story has simple popped into my head fully written, and then it's a matter of taking dictation..

I set myself the challenge of using all the names of geometric shapes in a poem. I worked on the idea a long time, writing and re-writing multiple times. The final result is my new book, Tangled!
