Brenda Leigh Johnson and Fritz Howard from TNT's The Closer. They are aware of the other's faults as well as strengths and accept them for it. They work together well, very well. The humor and respect is astounding. I loved this show from beginning to end.

Speaking of Caper Magic, which is part of a Halloween themed series out of the Wild Rose Press, I wanted to write about a small tourist town which celebrates Halloween for the entire month of October. I patterned the town of Cape Brendan after Cape Vincent which is in the 1,000 Islands area of Northern New York State. Very picturesque, very quaint. And . . . it offers a ferry ride across the Saint Lawrence River to Canada which I used in the story as a stop on the underground movement to help women escape abusive situations. Lots of fun to write.
