I've been reading a lot of K.F. Breene and love her fictional worlds. I've also started reading Sarah J. Maas and think the worlds she has created are amazing.
I also have to admit I'd love to live 'Harry Potter' and be a student at Hogwarts.
I love this idea of new 'worlds' that exist within our own. So that makes me think of Laurell K. Hamilton, Annabel Chase, Kim Harrison, and Patricia Briggs. Being able to meet and interact with any of those characters and places would be amazing.
Obviously, I'd love to be able to step into the world I have created in the Seattle, WA and surrounding areas in my own Vampire Shadower Series novels.

Sometimes I have dreams about my fictional characters. Most of the time, though, the real world, other books, movies, and tv shows give me ideas for crafting stories. Every love story has been told and lived, so it's about writing something that can connect with a reader.
As far as vampires and shapeshifters, this storyline has more flexibility because even though so many vampire stories have been told, I tried to give mine a new twist.

Setting aside time to just sit and work. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not. However, I have to make myself sit at the computer and ignore distractions.

The control over fictional worlds! :) I love being able to mold a story into something that others can get lost in and enjoy.

Write, write, write. You need to have drafts of stories that you can mold into your final. As long as there is a messy draft, there is something to revise and edit.
Don't try to make your story perfect the first time through. A professional editor and time away from your work (come back with fresh eyes) is what's going to make it great. However, if you don't have SOMETHING written to begin with, there is nothing to turn into a novel.

Vampire Shadower Book 2 will be out in May 2024! YAY!
I am re-releasing my first three novels in Spring 2024: 'Outrunning The Hunter' (romantic suspense Running Series Book 1), 'Running Out of Time' (romantic suspense Running Series Book 2), and 'First Death' (Vampire Shadower Book 1).
That means I'm currently writing Vampire Shadower Book 3 and Running Series Book 3.

Writing helps me have an escape from the stress and pressure of every day life. :) I love to read fictional stories and that inspired me to write fictional stories. It's also probably my OCD and need for control. HAHA
