We don't say words like that around here. I don't believe in it. It's a cop out. It's a lie. Be gone! A writer writes. If he/she/them are not writing then he/she/they are not a writer. Get around obstacles! Find a way! Take a walk! Take a shower! WRITE SOMETHING!

Growing up the black church, the pastor is the first one I saw move a crowd with language, voice and wisdom. At the same time I was coming up in the early days of Hip Hop music and culture--similarly the MC was moving my imagination with language, voice and wisdom (and DOPE BEATS).

I am a latchkey kid which means my childhood was chock full of pop culture and bad decisions. I walk around curious, easily distracted, overly stimulated and anxious. The world is a fascinating jungle!
