As a teenager I read romantic fiction. There were many great authors; and I had high hopes of getting to be another romantic fiction author. However, after suffering through a divorce years ago, I realized just how important my spiritual life was to me and I decided to be a Christian fiction writer which I really enjoy doing. I also have to say my husband Rob has been another inspiration for me.

First I pray about it; and then, I start trying to brainstorm a story line again comparing it to the previous one and hoping it works. Then sometimes I try staying away from writing a few days and then coming back to it.

It's very exciting to watch a story line form. I like getting a scratch piece of paper and brain storming a story. The best thing about being a writer is trying to give someone hope through my stories.

Never give up because with God's help you can accomplish anything! I've previewed 21 books here on Goodreads and they have all been great. There is so much talent out there; and plenty of room for more.

I'm currently working on a book where the story takes place in New Orleans. I hope to have it finished in a few months if all goes according to plan.

My late neice Haley along with other people had seen things from the spirit would that a lot of us don't see. So we got together and wrote this book. She was in a terrible accident; and lived a year or a little over a year after that. She passed away with a pulmonary embolism in her sleep. So I really have to give her a lot of credit for this book.
